Wake and Make - Wakefield Youth Creative Takeover Day (16 to 25s)
Saturday 9 March 2024, 10am to 3pm
Join the Wakefield Youth Creative Takeover Team for a day of talks, tours and crafts.
It’s all being delivered by young people, for young people!
Enjoy spotlight talks on topics ranging from rhubarb to LGBTQ+ history.
Go on a creative writing tour around the museum and create a character based on our objects.
Be inspired by our decoupage screens and make your mark on the Wakefield Wall of Wonder.
The first hour (10am to 11am) will be a relaxed session. There will be changes to the sensory environment in the museum to create a relaxed atmosphere.
All activities will be available 11am to 3pm.
Free and no booking required.
