Wakefield Museums & Castles is looking to commission an artist to develop an innovative display in the Atrium space at Wakefield One, responding to the life and work of the 18th-century educator, Richmal Mangnall.

Watercolour painting of Richmal Mangnall from 1814. A white woman, dressed in a high-necked, long-sleeved white dress, with a red beaded necklace and a white headscarf/wrap. She has tightly-curled brown hair. She is smiling subtly at the painter, and holding an open book. There are more books behind her.
